About Mrs. Osburne

DSC_0023Since graduating from Auburn University in 2000, I have been teaching computer classes and working with technology. I started my career at Executrain and Accenture and then got my Masters Degree from the State University of West Georgia.

I began teaching high school students in 2003 at Lassiter High School in Marietta where I taught AP Computer Science, Introduction to Programming, Web Design, and AP Economics.

In 2006, Clay and I felt God’s call to move to McDonough and pursue the dream of Strong Rock with an incredible staff.

In my spare time, I am a writer and speaker for young married couples. My first book, Everyday Experts on Marriage, was published in 2006. Since then, I have written for publications like Focus on the Family and Bible Advocate. My work recently appeared in Gary Chapman’s Love is a Verb and his follow-up book, Love is a Flame. I have also written for  Testimony Magazine, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and Guideposts. Yes, writing is a passion of mine, so I try to incorporate it into computer assignments with the students!

My personal blog is full of information about writing, speaking, crazy projects, and our upcoming adoption.

Feel free to e-mail me anytime at eosburne@strong-rock.com.
